Camera Obscura (A2)

Hildebrand

Read Camera Obscura by Hildebrand (Nicolaas Beets) in easy Dutch: a free CEFR A2 graded reader to download as an EPUB. The best-loved book of nineteenth-century Dutch literature looks at Dutch people with a smile: boys and their pranks, the small disasters of childhood, a menagerie at the fair and an unpleasant man on a Sunday walk near Haarlem. This is a selection of four sketches, each one kept whole with Hildebrand's humour and the period's views, told in short, plain sentences of modern Dutch with a glossary after each one. Makkelijk lezen in het Nederlands (NT2), niveau A2: vier schetsen uit de Camera Obscura in eenvoudige taal, gratis als EPUB.
